Work Permits and Employment Validation

If you are interested in coming to Canada to work temporarily, before you apply for permanent residence, or before your application is approved, we can help you get a work permit and job offer.

Find a Job in Canada: These websites feature searchable online databases where you can create and post a résumé profile. For a small fee, enhance your profile with professional features such as online video clips, audio clips, photographs and computer scans of your educational and professional documents. Canadian employers search these databases to find the best professionals to bring to Canada.

Obtaining a Work Permit and Employment Confirmation

In order to get a work permit, most people need a job offer. If you have a job offer, your Canadian employer will probably need to get an Employment Confirmation approved by Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC). Before issuing an Employment Confirmation, HRDC determines there are no Canadians ready, willing and able to do the job. This policy protects the Canadian job market by ensuring available jobs are offered to Canadians first before they are offered to foreign workers.

The Demand for Computer and IT Professionals

The demand for information technology professionals is growing rapidly in Canada. At the same time, Canada’s supply of skilled and high-tech workers cannot meet this demand.

Making it Fast and Easy
The Canadian government is committed to attracting vast numbers of highly skilled people from around the world and has changed immigration regulations to make it easy for high-tech professionals from abroad to come to Canada quickly through an open Employment Validation. However, a work permit must still be obtained.

Facilitated Entry for Software Professionals

Presently, seven occupations have been identified and a national HRDC conformation has been issued.
It is not necessury to get HRDC approvals for applicants applying for work visas in these occupations.

You must have relevant education (usually a college degree) and experience (usually at least 2 years). The Canadian employer must give you a written job offer. Minimum salaries start at approximately $45,000.00 CDN per year.

Work Permits for Businesspeople

We help businesspeople come to Canada through one of a number of different categories, including:
  • Intra-Company Transfer. If you operate a company in your own country, we can help you to open an associate, affiliate or subsidiary company in Canada for which you can send over managers and senior level executives or people with specialized knowledge.
  • If the business you operate offers significant financial benefits to Canada, you can come here to start your business.
Visitor Visas - Business Class

If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada in the Business Category, it is a good idea to visit Canada first to do research and learn about your industry/profession in Canada. This will help support your application. We help you obtain visitor visas.

To be issued a visitor visa, you must convince an immigration officer you are well-established in your own country and will be leaving Canada after your visit. We can provide you with an invitation letter and Canadian contacts.

Student Visas

For a student visa, you will need to show immigration officials that:
  • you have enough money for tuition and for living expenses; and,
  • you have already been accepted into a program of study at a Canadian institution.
